However, they have both immediate and strategic concerns. The major business concern is
finding a way to grow their patient numbers. The Report identifies this, and also their lack of
strategies for solving the problem. Linked to that is concern about increasing competition from health funds and corporate groups, who through economies of scale benefit from greater cost reduction and marketing advantages.
